Since 1943, Dixie Tank Company has manufactured carbon and stainless steel tanks, pressure vessels, water heaters, filters, large diameter pipe and custom fabrications for the water, water treatment, hot water, and industrial markets. Our commitment to quality ASME, ABS, UL and API fabrication and on time delivery has helped us become one of the foremost fabricators in the Southeast. Over the years, we have continued to expand our facilities to better serve our growing customer base. Our present manufacturing facility now covers over six acres, with approximately 78,000 square feet of manufacturing area under roof.

Shop Fabricated Tanks

Dixie Tank fabricates tanks up to 14' diameter for a variety of services. These include:

• Hydropneumatic Tanks - Used in both public and private water systems to capture and hold ground water. Dixie Tank stocks and custom manufacturers a complete line of galvanized and epoxy lined hydropneumatic tanks.
• Air Receivers - Used in conjunction with air compressors to furnish compressed air for machinery, painting, air tools, etc.. A properly sized air system will reduce pressure pulsation caused by a air compressor, provide a constant flow during peak demands, allow moisture and oil to settle during the storage period.
• Fire Protection Tanks - Used in private fire protection systems as a standby pressurized water storage to provide water until supplemented by the fire department. The tanks are constructed, and tested in accordance with the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA 22) recommendations and the ASME Code
• Hot Water Storage Tanks - Used in connection with boilers or other independent water heating sources to provide storage capacity to meet peak and normal system demands.
• Flash Tanks - Used in systems that require flashing of high pressure condensate into steam before it is return to a boiler, condensate receiver, or vented to a sewer.
• Blow Down Tanks - Used on boiler discharge to reduce pressure and temperature before releasing to sewer.

Large Diameter Piping

Dixie Tank fabricates large diameter piping for circulating water service in the utility market. A variety of coatings can be provided in their new painting facility. Dixie can provide pipe systems up to 144" diameter.

Specialty Products

Dixie Tank fabricates a variety of specialty products including highly custom skid systems, filter/screening systems, ductwork and many other steel fabrication projects.
