Johnson Air Rotation® Systems

Johnson invented, patented and trademarked the Johnson Air Rotation® System-and they are experts at its application. The system heats, cools and ventilates large, open buildings such as manufacturing, distribution and warehouse facilities.

The Johnson Air Rotation® System is simply the best way to condition large, open buildings because:

  • The first cost is competitive with roof-top air handlers and the various kinds of make-up air equipment.
  • It installs quickly and easily, requiring only three men for a half-day for a typical installation.
  • Operating costs (fuel and electricity) are a fraction of the cost of other HVAC equipment.
  • It lasts 30 or more years.
  • It requires annual maintenance that takes less than one hour.

Make-Up Air Systems

Complementing our Johnson Air Rotation® System is a series of direct and indirect-fired heaters, air conditioners, and make-up air equipment and custom air handling equipment that allows our application engineers to provide customers with a Total SOLUTION to their HVAC needs.

Our HVAC equipment conditions building air in every way; heating, cooling, humidifying, dehumidifying, filtering, cleaning, sanitizing, and ventilating it from a location inside or outside the building, i.e., rooftop, floor or ground mounted, and ceiling or wall hung.

Consulting engineers, contractors and end users can rely on Johnson MarCraft for a Total SOLUTION to their HVAC needs for warehouses, distribution and manufacturing facilities, or for custom applications in hospitals and many other large specialty buildings.

Energy Recovery Units

Millions of people spend 90% of their day inside, so it's important that the buildings they occupy have a substantial amount of fresh, outside air. ASHRAE 62 ventilation standards recommend that 15 to 60 cubic feet per minute (CFM) of outside air should be supplied for every person within a building. Although this is just a recommendation, many companies apply this as their specification.

Heating, cooling and controlling the humidity of this increasing amount of outside air can become costly. MarCraft's Energy Recovery Units are an economical solution to increasing ventilation without dramatically increasing mechanical equipment costs, space requirements and operational costs in new construction and retrofit applications.
