Kansas City Parks & Recreation Fountains
Associated Equipment Sales and Grundfos worked with Kansas City Parks and Recreation to re-energize three iconic fountains in Kansas City: The Nichols Fountain, Seville Fountain and the Volker Fountain. The desire to have a long term sustainable solution for the fountain features was a key issue for the city and Grundfos was the choice on all three projects. An energy analysis was performed on the Volker Fountain by Grundfos which resulted in a $25,000 rebate to the city based on the energy savings profile. Associated Equipment Sales and Grundfos worked closely with Kansas City Power & Light (KCP&L) to ensure that the city received both the long term savings on energy and the KCP&L rebate.
